DollarDays...just
the facts
A Basic Online Wholesaler
|
What is DollarDays?
DollarDays
is an online
wholesaler and closeout company that helps small
businesses compete against larger enterprises. They offer more
than 25,000 products at claimed prices close to those at which large
chains purchase. They accept small orders with a minimum order of one
case of any product, allowing small businesses to operate frugally by
avoiding capital tied up in inventory.
Their main emphasis is in providing products at wholesale prices to
their members. Drop shipping is available upon request but they do not
put private labels on the packages.
DollarDays
sells its products by the case and prices the goods by the truckload.
Prices of the wholesale supplies are claimed to be as cheap or in many
cases cheaper than wholesale suppliers who buy in bulk. Small business
owners can order their goods - ranging from decorative items and
clothing to personal care products and greeting cards - as well as
instantly create seasonal departments and marketing materials.
Customer service and satisfaction is the cornerstone of the business.
DollarDays prides itself in supplying existing businesses as well as
helping entrepreneurs open online stores and businesses.
Free
extras include the "DollarDays Profit Genie" that calculates profit
margin, selling price, and cost of goods. It's a widget that can be
placed on your desktop for convenient use.
Membership
is free with no monthly fees for the basic service, but for a
$99 setup fee a premium program is offered. Dollardays International
(DDI) will set up a personalized web site with your name, company or
logo at the top of every page. Products are automatically added to your
site or removed when discontinued as well as the overall maintenance of
the site. From there you are on your own to market your site to the
businesses in your town and your neighbors. In essence you become an
active marketer of all of DollarDays' products. In addition to the $99
setup fee, there is an annual fee equal to the price featured
at the time of renewal. Also there is a $15.95 monthly fee which
provides services like order tracking, processing and
shipping, payment processing, responsibility for collections on
unpaid orders, and website hosting. Payment to you is on a
5-15% commission scale depending on the size of the order. . . Lots to
offer but not cheap.

"Great for
beginners, Simple, straight forward, no nonsense, just enough info for
what you need, good selection, ease of use, searches are quick.
Deserving of an all around "best site site on the web" for thier layout
and helpful lack of bells and whistles."

"I
emailed
DollarDays.com's Customer Service (Disservice) Department and received
no answer. In fact, I wrote to them about 6 times and no one
replied.... you know what they say. If it looks too good to be true, it
probably is. These guys are crooks. Stay away! "
